In West Virginia, two of the biggest barriers to stability are poverty and logistics. At Wooten Family Services, we work to solve both.

We are a locally owned social enterprise focused on helping families, workers, and communities move forward when systems are stretched and resources are limited. Operating at the intersection of workforce development, contract support, and social services, we partner with state agencies, courts, nonprofits, small businesses, and community organizations to deliver practical, dependable solutions where they are needed most.

Whether supporting a family in crisis, helping small businesses navigate contracting opportunities, or providing mission-driven labor through our employer-of-record model, our goal remains the same: remove barriers, create opportunity, and deliver consistent, measurable results.

Through structured, professional support, we help remove the small logistical barriers—missed rides, scheduling conflicts, and supervision gaps—that can otherwise delay progress and permanency outcomes. Our approach emphasizes steady follow-through, respectful engagement, clear professional boundaries, and consistent communication with referring agencies. All services are supported by objective, timely documentation and coordinated through partnerships with Socially Necessary Services providers to ensure accountability, compliance, and continuity of care for the families being served.

Mission-Driven Workforce and Contract Solutions

Wooten Family Services is a social enterprise providing workforce solutions, contract management, and employer-of-record services that help both organizations and individuals succeed. We supply dependable crews for property preservation, site cleanup, logistics, and overflow work while also helping small businesses and individuals navigate government or private contracting. We believe stable families and stable communities start with West Virginians hiring their neighbors and not large out-of-state corporations.

As the W-2 Employer of Record, we manage payroll, compliance, insurance, and employment administration so our partners can focus on getting the work done. At the same time, we create employment pathways for individuals facing barriers to workforce entry by providing structure, opportunity, and real job experience.

This model allows businesses to access reliable labor without administrative burden while helping workers build stability and long-term employment skills.

Small Business Consulting

Wooten Family Services provides practical consulting support for small businesses and social enterprises across West Virginia. Services focus on helping organizations get operational quickly and sustainably through assistance with compliance readiness, workflow design, cost control, analytics, and basic technology setup. The goal is simple: help local businesses navigate opportunities they might otherwise miss, reduce administrative barriers, provide local affordable consultations, and build stable operations that can grow while serving their communities.
